🎶SHEMA ISRAEL — A YOM KIPPUR MESSAGE🎶
As we enter Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement, we must understand where our true kapparah — atonement — comes from.
Our atonement does not come from chickens, rituals, or human traditions.
Our atonement comes through Yeshua HaMashiach, who gave Himself for us.
“He was wounded for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon Him, and by His wounds we are healed.” Isaiah 53:5
Yeshua is our sacrifice, our High Priest, and the One through whom we receive forgiveness, cleansing, and reconciliation with the Father.
As we search our hearts during these holy days, may we return to Adonai with true teshuvah — repentance and recognize the perfect atonement He has provided through Messiah.
I wrote “Shema Israel” many years ago, in Israel and this song has remained very close to my heart ever since but I was not able to release until now!
For years, I carried the desire to share its message.
In July 2024, we were able to record this music video in the beautiful island of St. Thomas, together with precious friends who became like mishpacha to us.
Now, after all these years, I am finally able to release it.
