It’s all about Messiah (Christ), and His name is Yeshua!
The more we seek the Lord, pray, and read/ study the Word of God, the Lord reveals His heart for us intimately.
Life changes and when the Lord gives us revelations, it’s hard to turn back
This sets us even more apart from the “world” and its ways, but when the Lord is put first in our lives, Yeshua (Jesus) is our treasure and reward.
We must renounce and not be influenced by pagan ways but by the Word of God.
“All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness…”
The feasts of the Lord are prominently mentioned in Leviticus 23, Numbers 28-29, and Deuteronomy 16.
Why is it that the majority of the leaders of churches are not teaching about the Feasts of the Lord, and many churches are not aware nor celebrating the feasts of the Lord, instead the majority are following the culture of the world?
We need to be culture leaders not followers... Sadly this world system is under the influence of the devil. It is populated by human beings who are profoundly affected by the fall.
I come from a family of Italians (citizens of Rome) and Israel, with dual citizenship, as the Apostle Paul, known by his Hebrew name Rabbi Shaul, (according to Acts 16:37-38 , Acts 22:25-28).
I studied and lived in Europe, am educated regarding cultures, and have a passion for Biblical History.
I’ve learned so much, with experience throughout the years.
Saturnalia was an ancient Roman festival that honored the god Saturn and was celebrated from December 17 to 23.
For Rome, this celebration was a very big deal for pagans.
“Christmas” apparently started – like Saturnalia – in Rome, and spread to the eastern Mediterranean.
In the fourth century, the early church fathers deliberately re-branded a popular pagan holiday as a Christian festival, to make their religion more attractive to converts.
I share with you this interesting and edifying documentary of the roots, and history of Christmas, in Rome it was Saturnalia, and the pagan practices under the Roman Empire.
Yeshua our Messiah is to be remembered and celebrated every single day! 🙂
After this study, this revelation, and the conviction of the Holy Spirit, it is difficult to assimilate with the "world"... and as the Word of God says, the Lord sets apart even His chosen ones, to be His remnant.
“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.” Romans 12:2
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.” 2 Corinthians 5:17
